Minister and Pastoral Worker
Senior Minister
Tim Mountain who with his wife Shirley has been with GBC since 1997. They have two (adult) children. They served in a church in Kent for 8 years before moving to Grantham.
Community Outrach Minister
Andy Scholes joined the ministry team at GBC in January 2009. In his role as Associate Minister he has oversight for the outreach and community involvement of the church. His desire is to help the church serve the local community in appropriate ways - in Jesus' name. Previously Andrew spent 2 years studying theology at Spurgeon’s College and combined this with time spent as a minister-in-training at a small Baptist church near Southport. Before that he studied theology for 3 years at the International Christian College in Glasgow. He enjoys playing and watching a range of sport and as a proud northerner he closely follows Burnley Football Club.
Elders and Deacons
Elders and deacons work alongside the minister to bring spiritual oversight and facilitate the day-to-day life of the church. Each elder and deacon has a special responsibility in one or more of the ministry teams in the church.
