Who is it for? Both men and women
When? Thursday afternoon (Term time only)
Time? 2pm – 3.30pm
Format? Varies but includes: – Worship (Songs, prayer and reading) – Speaker on a theme – Coffee and biscuits Special Occasions? We arrange meals to celebrate Christmas and Easter together, joined by many friends from the church. In the summer we enjoy tea and cakes in the manse garden.
Outings? We have shared some wonderful days together visiting places of interest.
Speakers? Various members or friends of our church are invited to share on a given theme. For example, one theme has been about journeys. We invite representatives of various organisations, e.g. Leprosy Mission, the Moldovan Mission, Love Russia (video) and New Tribes Mission, to keep us informed about their particular work and needs for prayer and active support. We have a particular interest in the continued work of the missionaries who are connected with our Church.
