Community Outreach

At GBC we are seeking to make a positive difference in the community of which we are a part. Here are some of the ways in which we try to do this:

• A weekly Portuguese drop-in called Amigos
• Weekly English speaking classes
• Regular visits are made into ASDA and the George Centre through the Town Centre Chaplaincy Team.
• Alternatives Pregnancy Crisis Centre has links with the church.
• A small team from the church goes to Fairview Farm, a local Mencap care home, on a monthly basis.
• We also have a small group who make monthly visits to two care homes for the elderly.

On a wider level, we are part of the Grantham Street Pastors and the Churches Together group.
