Good News Club
This is a club for 7 to 11 year olds, run every Friday evening during school term time. Children can start coming along as soon as they have had their 7th birthday, regardless of when this is in the school year. It starts at 6.15 and ends at 7.45. It is an evening packed with fun and games, along with simple refreshments. We also spend some time each week looking at the bigger questions in life, and where God fits into the big picture.
During the year we also arrange special events, such as bowling, visits to the Cinema, and BBQ's in the summer.
The current subs are 50p per week. These help pay for outside activities, refreshments, and any craft material that is used. As a group, we also sponsor through the Toybox charity, a young boy called Samuel, known as Sami to his friends, who was rescued from the streets of Guatemala. The group gets regular updates about him and we encourage the young people to be aware of issues that go far beyond the boundaries of Grantham
